Christmas 2010

Christmas morning is just as fun as it was years ago at the Nielsen home. The boys still get up early but instead of waking up mom and dad they watch SpongeBob and wait until the agree time to come and ponce upon us and tell us that it's time to open presents. This year was fun. We all met under the tree and opened gifts and admired each one. The years get harder as the boys get older. More thought has to go into the gift and a little more money. Needless to say I don't think they were disappointed. They both received new hiking backpacks for scouts and rip sticks. Wii games and clothes. Things that were needed and a few wanted. We also had the opportunity to teach them more about giving. Our community suffered the loss of 2 small boys and children who were going without. We tried to teach them that others had nothing and sometimes its the small things that matter. Like shoes or food. We don't need a lot of things to make us happy, we just need to be grateful for the things we do have. Tyler's new game. It's a fun memory game that you throw discs under in correct order.
Tanner gave mom new penguins slippers. They match the penguins pants.

Tanner got new goggles for snowboarding or 4-wheeling.

If you ever have a chance to come over, make sure you see us play this game. So fun and funny to watch.
Hope your holidays were filled with love and support from your families.

Babinsky Christmas Eve Party

Wayne with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Tanner- Can't figure out how Santa knew so much about him.
Nephew- Little Easton- "Come on dude just give me the Candy Cane and gift and get me out of here".
Tyler- "I'm so embarrassed."

For as long as I can remember the "Babinksy Family" has always had a party and invited Santa. This year was no different except we went. I have not gone since Tanner was 1. It was so good to see all the family that was there. We had some yummy food and snacks and Santa was a big hit. All the kids had fun and because it was Christmas Eve they were so excited. A great time was had by all.
This is my Pap pap. He is truly the nicest man I have ever met.

My niece Katie. She doesn't look too sure about Santa.

Now Malakai, he walked right up to him, sat on his lap and got his candy cane and present. He was so cute. Couldn't get the sucky thing out of his mouth though.

Here is my brother Ryan, he just got his jaw wired shut from play Rugby. When will he ever learn?
Little Raiyah waiting for her turn to be called up to Santa.

And Wayne and I just taking it all in. Enjoying the holidays. Hope it was a Merry one to all.
