Merry Christmas To All

Well our Christmas was not what we had planned it to be. There was a huge storm headed our way and if we wanted to be able to get through the canyon to see our families on Christmas day we had to head out on Christmas eve. But we did not figure this out until 2pm. And since I waited until the very last minute to wrap my Christmas it was very easy to pack up in totes. When Wayne returned home from work we loaded up the truck and headed to my mothers in Centerville. The children loved playing the PlayStation and Wii with uncle Weston. We had to bring both of them cause Santa was bringing games for both the PS2 and the Wii. So I stayed up most of the night wrapping, like I always do, (learned that from my mother) and got to bed very late. Woke up and guess what no snow. You mean I could have stayed home in my own bed and rested well. Oh well, we got out of bed and opened gifts from Santa. Tanner got more DC stuff.
Roger got sweet smelling Cologne.

Tyler got Mario Party 8. He has only been asking for that for 3 months.

And of course that both got rock band. Now I wish someone would have told me the drums will drive me crazy. But they love it and it is real fun to sing.
After that we were off the see Wayne's parents. Where Grandpa bought the kids a Wii fit and that game is so much fun. I don't think we have ever laughed so hard at each other. We decided to drive back home cause there was still no snow. Well we hit Brigham City and we were hit hard. The road was covered. We started up the canyon and Wayne said he would take it real slow. Tanner said we should pray and he prayed for our safety. It took us 2 hours to get home that night and we made it. It took a while to dig out the next day. It was a big storm. And it was defiantly a white Christmas.
