Camping and Conference

I love General Conference. It's a time for me to relax with the family and listen to church on the radio. We usually always go camping somewhere and we can always get it on the radio. This year we went to Antelope Island. I know some of you think that it's not fun to camp there, but it really is. The weather was cool on Saturday and Sunday was beautiful. The kids must have climbed the mountain 4 times and ran to the beach 10 times. We went with the neighbors, the Ekstroms, and our friends, the Binghams, came to visit on Saturday. We had so much fun playing games and eating snacks and dinner. It's nice to get away and relax with family and friends.

This is what we look like with no make up and over sized shirts and being lazy bums down by the beach. This time of year it does not stink and the bugs are not out.

Tyler climbed on a huge rock and yelled "MOM, take my picture".

On Sunday the weather was so nice. The water was clear as glass. This is us looking toward Kaysville and Salt Lake City.

Here are the boys and man do they need a shower. From left to right- Tanner, Matthew, Tyler and Dakotah.

Wayne is trying to make the dog stay. The dog insists on drinking the salt water and it was making her very sick. We are so mean. All she did was whine cause he wouldn't let her move.

Tanner said the sun was bright and his eyes were watering so he went and got the ski goggles and put them on. Doesn't he look COOL?

Here are the Troublemakers

My neighbor Alisha is a photographer and she says when you walk away from the camera it tells a story. The only story my husband says this picture tells is that you are seeing his best side!

When all the parents were playing games we put all the kids in my bedroom on my bed in front of the t.v. they watched movies and fell asleep. The kids kind of look worn out in this picture. Except for Matthew is the middle.

Getting ready to play games. Left to right-Michael, Wayne, Monica and Kelly.

Wayne was tyring to get a picture of a buffalo in this picture. He was even getting close to it. The sun got in his eyes. I thought the picture turned out well. Another man was taking a picture and got to close. The buffalo charged him. I started screaming. The man ran and the buffalo stopped and the man still got his picture. It was pretty scary for a few minutes. Wayne decided he was close enough and came back to camp.
